Jakub Havrlant is growing the digital economy one internet business at a time.

Jakub Havrlant always believed that an entrepreneur should have a dream, define a relevant goal, then find the means to reach it. He is doing just that as the CEO of investment group Rockaway Capital, which is developing the digital economy by building, investing in and acquiring internet companies. 

From a very young age, Jakub was fascinated by the world of business. As a university student, he founded the online real estate portal w.cz, which was one of the first on the Czech market to receive local venture investment and today represents the most successful digital real estate project in the country.

He founded Rockaway Capital in 2013, and 10 years later the investment group has developed portfolio companies with successful brands — many are the leading players in their fields. Rockaway Capital actively participates in the management of these companies, which span across areas such as blockchain, venture capital, e-commerce, e-travel and media, offering expert guidance and becoming an integral part and driving force of their respective teams.

Jakub also contributes to the development of promising digital startups through the Rockaway Ventures Fund, which invests in projects with a positive impact on society and the environment.
