EY Featured in Omdia Special Report highlighting Strategy and Transactions business (Omdia, an Informa Tech business)
We are delighted to share that EY was recently profiled by Omdia (part of Informa Tech) following our first-ever Strategy and Transactions Analyst event with a special report: ‘Service Provider Spotlight: EY Strategy and Transactions and its quest to deliver long-term value,’ by Adrian Ho, published at the end of March.
According to Omdia, EY Strategy and Transactions has the right approach to help CEOs transform their business, realign goals, and deliver long-term client value. In particular, Omdia believes the service line is in ‘a very strong and competitive position’ with one of EY’s biggest competitive differentiations is its access to the C-Suite, especially the CEO. Transformation usually starts and ends with the C-Suite and almost all IT service providers struggle with this and few can work intimately with them to re-shape and re-invent themselves for the future in the way that EY can, across multiple sectors and disciplines.

EY’s Strategy & Transactions featured in Technology Business Research, Inc. (TBR) Special Report
Titled ‘EY’s Strategy and Transactions Practice Takes Shape Amid Evolution Across The Entire Firm’, the report highlights how EY’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) was rebranded as Strategy and Transactions (SaT), also bringing the EY-Parthenon strategy consulting brand under the new SaT practice, as of July 1 2021. Structural changes around strategy consulting and transaction advisory services are not, in TBR's view, merely cosmetic; but rather representative of the wholesale change of EY from a standard white-shoe audit, tax and consulting firm to a full-service technology-enabled transformation agent for its clients. The firm believes the move will help EY build capabilities at scale, allowing EY to better address the full range of facets impacting clients and provide them long-term value.

We are extremely proud to share that EY was profiled by TBR Inc. in their special report titled ‘Know Your Consultancy: EY’s FinCrime Practice and the Future of Compliance’, published April 2021.
In TBR’s view, while EY’s FinCrime practice does not depend on setting itself apart from peers, especially as professional services firms rarely differentiate from one another; instead, EY succeeds through solidifying trust by offering domain depth and delivering. EY continues to make its FinCrime solutions sticky, converting remediation engagements into long-term managed services clients and expanding the firm’s FinCrime capabilities to include cybersecurity and, potentially, blockchain.
