“When I think about what I do in tax policy, in many ways I’m a translator. I take tax policy concepts and help businesses talk to governments about those policies,” said Barbara. “It was a huge privilege to get to be a part of the tax work at the Ways and Means Committee. What ultimately became the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and seeing that from the very beginning. From first the blueprint to then developing the legislation. I'll never forget being on the House floor the day they passed the bill.”
