Tom is a senior advisor at EY-Parthenon, Ernst & Young LLP, advising power and gas utilities on critical decisions related to establishing their future market position, strategies, and priorities. He is a frequent author and recently released the book Roll-Up: The Past, Present, and Future of Utilities Consolidation.
He brings more than four decades of experience advising utility and midstream C-suite executives on growth strategy and M&A, business transformation, market analysis, and go-to-market strategy. He helps utilities design and build innovation models, assess disruptive technologies, and identify opportunities for creating new businesses and business models related to energy services and mobility, advising on partnership, and standing up innovation platforms.
Tom has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma and serves on the boards of the Energy Institute at the university. He has also served as an independent director for a Canadian distributed energy resource management entity and is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants.
