Jano advises corporate clients on the latest tax policy developments, base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS), international tax controversy, transfer pricing, tax treaty issues and international tax transparency. He has over 20 years of international tax and transfer pricing experience.
Before joining the private sector, Jano worked in a variety of roles at the Spanish tax administration, where he dealt with international taxation and transfer pricing audits, international advance price agreements and mutual agreement procedures, as well as the negotiation of double tax treaties.
Jano also has experience working as a Spanish delegate for international organizations, such as the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (Committee on Fiscal Affairs in working groups on Double Taxation Agreements, Transfer Pricing, and Cooperation and Tax Avoidance), the European Union (Tax Commission and Counsel Meetings) and the United Nations (member of the Ad Hoc Group of Tax Experts).
