Jeffrey Van Hove
Experienced tax leader with more than 20 years in leadership positions at well-known private and public companies, international law firms and the U.S. Treasury Department.
Jeff is the Deputy Leader of the EY US National Tax practice and is the EY US Tax Policy Leader. He advises clients on tax technical matters, tax policy and tax reform, including interactions with the U.S. Treasury Department, the IRS and the OECD. Most recently, he was Senior Advisor for Regulatory Affairs at Treasury, where he worked with senior officials to develop regulatory and other administrative guidance in high-profile areas such as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and pandemic relief initiatives.
Jeff also served as Head of the Tax Treaty, Transfer Pricing and Financial Transactions Division in the OECD’s Center for Tax Policy and Administration in Paris. He led the teams focused on multilateral efforts to develop tax policies to address the digitalization of the economy, such as BEPS 2.0.
Jeff has a Bachelor’s from Yale, a Juris Doctorate (JD) from Columbia University School of Law, and an LLM (Master’s in Tax Law) from New York University School of Law.
