Gerry Dixon is the Managing Partner of the EY US Government and Public Sector practice headquartered in Washington, DC. He leads EY teams in delivering consulting, strategy, assurance and tax services to the federal, state and local government and education institutions.
With more than 30 years of experience serving clients, Gerry’s key expertise is in Risk Transformation and major Project Management. Most recently, Gerry served as the Accounts Managing Partner for US-East. Previously, he was the EY US Global and Americas Risk Leader leading more than 14,000 professionals in the delivery of risk services to diversified organizations around the world and across multiple industries including Financial Services, Media, Technology, Consumer and Power & Utilities.
Gerry received his BS in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas.

Gerry is passionate about creating a better world for our people, clients and communities. Committed to serving the next generation of leaders, he serves on the Dean’s Council for University of Kansas School of Business. Gerry is also on the national board of MENTOR, a not-for-profit focused on creating and supporting mentoring organizations across the US as well as focusing on public policy, grants and funding for mentoring. He is the executive sponsor of a number of organizations including the Pan Asian Professional Network, Professional Women’s Network and EY AccessAbilities.
