Plus, you'll be setting the pace for an exceptional wide-ranging career with EY.
Innovation is our driving force
In Assurance, you’ll work smarter, faster and better. And you’ll prove that there’s so much more to Assurance than spreadsheets as you navigate world challenges and everyday conundrums. This is where opportunities come knocking from day one. Be ready to open the door.
What could you do in Assurance?
Embark on one of our programmes and we’ll teach you to harness new skills fit for the modern digital world. Explore our programmes below.
Assurance
Our largest team is Audit – where most students join and lay the foundations for their futures. Here, you’ll provide companies, investors and regulators with confidence. You’ll use market-leading analytics tools to look beyond the obvious. You’ll use your keen eye for detail to identify patterns and trends. And you’ll make a powerful impact on our ever-changing business.
Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS)
FAAS is one of our more specialist areas, where professionals help finance leaders tackle complex challenges facing their businesses and finance functions. Here, you’ll have a client-facing role, supporting them in understanding the effects of change and managing business transformation. It’s an exciting area to enter if you have a growth-hacker mindset.
Forensic Data Analytics (FD&A)
Our FD&A professionals are the detectives of the Assurance world. And as a member of their team, you’ll join them in investigating your clients’ operations – keeping an eye out for anomalies. Whether you want to become a fraud examiner, forensic accountant or an electronic data analyst, you’ll delve into the details to put businesses on the right path.
Extended Assurance
Prepare for a future in problem solving. From gathering insights to thinking innovatively to tackle in-depth client challenges, you’ll reduce risk and offer Financial Services advice. Expect exposure to a huge variety of organisations and Executives, the opportunity to pick up key analytical skills and the room to push the boundaries of business.
Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS)
Help organisations manage the risks and opportunities arising from Climate and Sustainability, whilst developing skills that will kickstart your career.
eDiscovery Graduate Programme
Provide solutions across the eDiscovery lifecycle to leading global law firms and corporate in-house counsels involved in high-profile and complex litigation and investigations.
Technology Risk
As technology transforms the working world, organisations are exposed to a variety of risks. Working closely alongside our Assurance colleagues, we help clients protect their reputation by identifying and mitigating these business and IT risks.
Technology Risk - Data Analytics
We support organisations on their digital transformation journey. Providing confidence and leveraging the latest technology innovations, we enable our clients to keep pace with market disruptors, respond to risk and regulatory challenges, and make sound business decisions.

Removing barriers
We’re proud of our heritage on driving diversity and social mobility across the professional services industry, and in 2016, we removed the requirement to have minimum UCAS points or a degree classification to make an application to EY. We are passionate about giving candidates a fair and consistent recruitment process and are proud of our long-standing partnership with RARE who help us assess applications using contextual recruitment. And, whilst some academic qualifications will still be considered (check programme pages for more information), it’s no longer a barrier. We also firmly believe that every candidate should have the opportunity to demonstrate their potential in our selection process which is why we use our leading EY Strengths Framework that focuses on your individual strengths.
