Helping you through the process
We assess your strengths
Our core EY strengths framework plays a significant role during the recruitment process as it helps to level the playing field for all candidates. We all have individual strengths and by using this model, it allows us to understand what you do well, what energises you, and how your strengths can help you to learn, flourish and develop as leaders.
Practice makes perfect
During the application process, you'll be presented with a series of online assessments that are specifically designed to help demonstrate your potential for the business area you have chosen. Get the insider view on how you will be evaluated via our virtual experience and engagement portal so you’re ready and prepared.
Chat to us online
Speak to apprentices and graduates who are currently on our programmes or our recruiters. Hear their insights and experiences of the application process and working at EY. Whether it's learning about the work they do or how to best prepare yourself for an interview, our people are ready to take your questions and give you guidance.

UK & Ireland vs Financial Services
Once you join EY, you'll work in either UK & Ireland (UK&I) or Financial Services (FS) - the main difference between the two are largely the clients we work with.

Removing barriers
We’re proud of our heritage on driving diversity and social mobility across the professional services industry, and in 2016, we removed the requirement to have minimum UCAS points or a degree classification to make an application to EY. We are passionate about giving candidates a fair and consistent recruitment process and are proud of our long-standing partnership with RARE who help us assess applications using contextual recruitment. And, whilst some academic qualifications will still be considered (check programme pages for more information), it’s no longer a barrier. We also firmly believe that every candidate should have the opportunity to demonstrate their potential in our selection process which is why we use our leading EY Strengths Framework that focuses on your individual strengths.
