    About the competition

The 2020 EY Corporate Finance Woman of the Year global final competition took place in Rome, 9-11 February 2020.

    • The first phase of the competition took place in local countries. Finalists were challenged to think critically and to come up with creative solutions for complex problems. They undertook both group and individual challenges, to give them the opportunity to demonstrate how they can contribute to a high-performing team.

    • The 22 country winners for the 2019-2020 competition attended the global final to represent their country. They worked together to solve problems for a real client, culminating in an evening of celebration with the announcement of the 2020 EY Corporate Finance Woman of the Year global winner, Jie Hui Tan from Singapore. Pia Jurhar from Switzerland and Srishti Bhandari from India were awarded second and third prizes.

Jie Hui will embark on an all-expenses-paid once-in-a-lifetime EY internship. The month-long experience will take her across the globe to work with EY Strategy and Transactions teams in multiple locations as they help clients build a better working world. Pia and Srishti will embark on a 12-month mentorship program with experienced female partners.
