The EY Young Tax Professional of the Year global competition offers participants insightful and engaging programming, allowing them to learn new skills, meet other young professionals, network with EY tax leaders around the world, challenge themselves and showcase their own talents.
The first phase of the 2023 global competition will begin in January 2023. The country winners will take part virtually in a host of practical, technical and social activities designed to make this phase an informative and fun experience for all. Our prestigious panel of judges, which includes partners of EY member firms and senior tax VPs from large multinationals, select the top 10 to compete in the final round of the global competition.
After reviewing the performance of the top 10 finalists throughout the competition, the three winners of the 2023 EY Young Tax Professional of the Year competition will be announced.

This is what the EY Young Tax Professional of the Year competition is all about.
The first phase of the competition takes place in your local country where you study. During the first round, we will challenge your technical abilities and wider commercial strengths — do well here against some of the best minds in your country and you will become a country finalist. As a country finalist, you will represent your country at the EY Young Tax Professional of the Year global competition.

This is what the EY Young Tax Professional of the Year competition is all about.
The first phase of the competition takes place in EY Zurich Office. During the first round, we will challenge your technical abilities in tax topics and wider commercial strengths — do well here against some of the best minds in Switzerland and you will become a country finalist. As the country finalist, you will receive coaching opportunities as well as represent Switzerland at the Young Tax Professional of the Year international final in December 2022.

The international final in December 2022
The EY Young Tax Professional of the Year international final allows us the opportunity to offer participants insightful and engaging programming, while EY Tax professionals, appreciate getting to connect with and learn from a group of exceptional professionals entrants to the industry.
The first phase of this year’s international competition will be held virtually in a host of practical, technical and social activities designed to make this phase an informative and fun experience for all. Our prestigious panel of judges, which included senior Tax VPs from large multinationals and representatives from tax authorities, will be selecting the top 10 to compete in the final in February 2023.
After a final review of performance throughout the competition, three winners of the 2022 EY Young Tax Professional of the Year competition will be announced in February 2023.
