  • Development and advancement

    a. Onboarding

    We know that starting a new career especially at EY can be overwhelming. That’s why, we strive to make the start easier by providing structured onboarding that is tailored to the different needs from our business areas. On your first day at work, you will get to know EY as an employer and build up your network with interesting colleagues during the "Welcome to EY" onboarding training. Right from the start, we will provide you with contact persons and mentors who will accompany you individually on your journey at EY.

    b. Further education and training

    We unleash your potential: with individual training, valuable experience, the latest technologies and personal support to help you achieve your career goals.

    c. Professional Exams

    We support you in preparing for professional exams with time off, paid special leave and financial assistance. Our offer applies, for example, to the exams for someone to become a Tax Consultant, Auditor, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

  • Working environment

    a. Latest tech equipment

    To ensure optimal work, we aim to provide latest tech equipment and workstation in our offices. You can choose your preferred smartphone upon joining the company, which you can also use privately. Be spoilt for choices with different providers and even higher-priced models if you pay extra. Every two years you have the option of replacing your smartphone with a new one.

    b. Public transport

    All employees on a permanent contract, except for the holders of a Swiss rail pass paid by EY and Hourly Paid employees, are entitled to receive a half fare travelcard. This rule also applies to employees working part-time (also those working less than 50%) as well as "Interns" with a minimum employment of six months.

    c. Catering

    At the Zurich office, the in-house canteen managed by ZFV provides four menu options daily and a wide range of salad options. At other locations, we provide subsidies: free drinks, fruit baskets and food to go are also available in all branches.

    d. Cooperations and discounts

    We offer numerous cooperations and discounts on travel, cultural and leisure activities as well as offers from the media, technology and fashion sectors. Our partner, Benefits at work, sends out a monthly newsletter informing you about seasonal discount offers.

    e. Car Leasing

    We offer various leasing packages through the different authorized dealers, which can include all the costs associated with a vehicle. Leasing period and mileage can also be chosen individually. The range of vehicles is wide and there are attractive special conditions.

  • Pension and Insurance

    a. Company pension plans

    At EY, you can pay into a company pension plan via a direct insurance policy or into the pension fund in the form of deferred compensation.

    b. Insurance

    Numerous insurance benefits are available to our employees. EY works with various health insurance companies to offer attractive additional insurance packages. In addition, employees are covered by travel health insurance when traveling abroad on business. In addition, our employees benefit from group accident insurance. The insurance cover extends worldwide to all accidents in both the professional and private spheres.

  • Employees’ Networks

    a. Professional Women’s Network

    This initiative offers all female employees at EY tailored development guidance for their next career step: from learning opportunities to mentoring and coaching to peer exchange as part of the monthly network meetings.

    The common barriers many women face at the workplace are related to gender norms, confidence gap and limiting beliefs, penalties for being mothers or not seeing the possibility to combine a successful career with a fulfilling life. These barriers need to be removed both in the minds of the women and in the view of the organization.

    In addition, we have a certification from Fair-ON-pay that regulates equal pay for all genders, which will be reviewed and re-certified every four years.

    b. BAME (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnicity)

    Our internal network for ethnic and cultural diversity is aimed at all colleagues with an immigrant background and all interested parties (allies). Many people of color may feel disconnected or disengaged at work, and not fully connected to their peers. There is often the feeling of need to adjust their style of speech, appearance, behavior and expression in ways that make others comfortable. The network seeks to build a more inclusive culture at EY.

    c. Purple Champions

    Our internal network "Purple Champions" is aimed at our colleagues with disabilities and interested parties. Together, the members organize regular meetings and real talks for all EY employees to further promote Disability Confidence in the company. Disability is part of our efforts to strengthen the leadership pipeline in EMEIA and we are working to break down any barriers to inclusion so that people of all abilities can be successful at EY.

    Partnering with MyAbility helped us build a fairer and equal society. We aim to create an conducive work environment consisting of experts with and without disabilities by creating professional solutions for all stakeholders that generate social impact and are economically sustainable.

    d. Unity (LGBT+ Network)

    Our internal network "Unity" has over 200 members and brings together our LGBTQIA+ community and its Allies.

    Members organize regular meetings and impulses together. There are also regular activities to promote LGBTQIA+ awareness in the workplace.

    'LGBT+' was embraced as an effective solution to use a term that more accurately reflects the growing diversity of the community, while remaining simple and clear. We also like the positivity inherent in the use of the "plus" symbol.

  • Diverse

    a. Teaming

    Teamwork is particularly important to us. To promote this and recognize the commitment of our employees, we hold regular departmental meetings and celebrations, as well as Christmas gatherings, summer parties and office events. As the world's most integrated audit and consulting firm, we also support collaboration across national borders, not only through secondments, but also through project-related exchanges and virtual mobility. We also work very intensively with the employees from our shared service centers in Poland and India.

    b. Bring a friend

    We reward every successful referral of new colleagues with a bonus of up to CHF 10’000 (e.g. Senior Manager).

    c. Bonuses for family events

    We grant up to two days of paid leaves for weddings, funerals and relocation.

    d. Anniversary / Loyalty rewards

    For various service anniversaries (e.g. 10, 15, 20 years, etc.), we grant special off-days and payments of up to CHF 5’000
