Actuarial – Non-Life Insurance
This is an opportunity to become part of our success story. We have a strong reputation in the market for bringing our clients' bespoke offerings to solve their problems.
We are more than just a conventional actuarial consultancy. As well as delivering for our clients in the traditional actuarial areas, such as reserving, pricing and capital modelling, we operate as part of the wider EY Consulting business. This gives our team the opportunity to work on wider projects including underwriting and finance transformation, implementation of technology, ESG, strategy, risk management, analytics and capital optimisation.
A fast-changing world can create lots of opportunity for non-life insurance businesses, but it also creates new risks. It’s our job to help clients identify and manage these risks by asking the right questions, setting priorities and creating action plans for long-term success.
We’re also proud to have won the award for The Times ‘Graduate Employer of Choice’ in 2021 for our Actuarial work.
Technology in Actuarial
Technology is at the forefront of the way we work. Our proprietary software enhances our ability to deliver market-leading insight and we utilise this to assist our clients in modernising their actuarial capabilities. You will be immersed in this technology from day one and will develop the skills to help our clients improve the way they operate in the market.

How’s it structured?
After kicking things off with an EY induction, you’ll join a team and start working on real client projects – just like our graduates. Don’t forget that your colleagues can help and teach you too, so ask lots of questions (being inquisitive is a key trait of a successful actuary). If you do a great job, you could be offered a place on the Actuarial graduate programme for the following year.
