I joined EY through an Industrial Placement. I wanted to try something new, in a people-focused role where there is opportunity to influence and change businesses for the better.

Businesss skills training
You’ll have access to all the learning EY has to offer. This includes our EY Badges programme, virtual, live instructor-led classes, live classroom sessions, curated and snackable content and master classes. The range of content is vast and includes courses on analytics, emerging technology and IT, as well as marketing, leadership and personal wellbeing.
How’s it structured?
Over 11 months, you’ll have access to a variety of different experiences and learning opportunities. We'll help you develop the skills to decipher how each client problem is different and to find innovative and sound ways of solving them.
If you join Financial Services (FS) you’ll work on a variety of projects for leading global FS clients and will be encouraged and expected to take responsibility for your projects. During the programme you'll get exposure to a range of sectors across FS including Wealth & Asset Management, Banking & Capital Markets and Insurance.
If you join UK & Ireland (UK&I), you’ll learn to combine your tech knowledge with business experience across entire organisations or specific areas like finance, operations or risk functions. There’s no limit to what you can get involved in and all along the way you’ll be supported by your team.
You'll attend training courses alongside our graduates and have access to learning and development resources as well as a supportive team to lend a hand. Since no two projects will be the same, we’ll coach and mentor you in a way that will prepare you for anything. You'll also be part of a larger community of graduates and apprentices which is a great opportunity to build your network, participate in corporate sustainability events and develop your leadership skills.
At the end of the placement, if you’re great at your job, you could be asked to join one of our graduate programmes once you’ve finished university.
