How’s it structured?
Your career at EY starts with an intensive induction course to develop your core consulting skills and get you ready to start a project and interact with clients.
There will be frequent training throughout the two years of the programme to enhance your technical and soft skills and improve your subject-matter knowledge.
To help you achieve your career goals, you’ll be assigned a personal careers counsellor and will receive the encouragement of, and exposure to, senior members of the Workforce Advisory team. This will enable you to shape your career and realise your potential.
Workforce Advisory consultants solve clients' people-related issues, but for us to deliver the best for them we must deliver the best within. Workforce Advisory has a strong people culture and has a focus on diversity, inclusion and collaboration. Everybody helps one another in whatever way they can, regardless of role or rank.
As a final assignment you’ll present a business case/case study to the senior leadership team, showing the core consulting skills you have obtained, why you’re ready for a promotion and what business area you’d like to work in. Don’t worry if this sounds daunting – you’ll have plenty of time to prepare! And, if you do a good job, you could be promoted to Senior Consultant at the end of the programme.
