Assurance Summer Internship - Northern Ireland
Get an insight into auditing our clients’ businesses whilst developing skills that’ll complement your career.
Assurance
We work to make sure that businesses are protected from risks that can affect their reputation and performance. As external auditors we help companies and governments publish accurate financial accounts others can rely on – so we can build a better working world.
Technology in Assurance
From implementing digital approaches into our global audit methodology to processing millions of transactions into visual analytics solutions, innovation and technology will be embedded into your audit clients from day one.
EY is using innovative technology such as Robotic Process Automation and Process Mining to review our client’s population data. You will receive structured training to upskill in digital technology such as data visualisation or design thinking and bring that into your audit work.

- You'll have a dedicated counsellor and a buddy throughout the programme

Start your career journey
Join a supportive and inclusive culture, build your strengths and develop new skills to set you on the right path in your career. Working on client projects, gain insights into our service offerings and become an integral part of our team. We are proud to have won several awards for being one of the best companies to work for.
How’s it structured?
After kicking things off with an EY induction you’ll join a team and start working on real client projects – just like our graduates. Don’t forget that your colleagues can help and teach you too, so ask lots of questions.
Throughout you’ll be part of the EY community, and you’ll have a buddy to help guide you. They’ll be your first point of call for practical help and guidance. There’s coaching too – so you always have access to impartial advice and opportunities
If all goes well, you could be offered a place on one of our graduate programmes to come back to when you finish university.
