Assurance Industrial Placement - Northern Ireland
Help businesses publish reliable financial accounts whilst you gain a head start on your graduate career.
Assurance
We make sure that businesses are protected from risks that can affect their reputation and performance. As external auditors we help companies and governments publish accurate financial accounts others can rely on – so we can build a better working world.
Technology in Assurance
From implementing digital approaches into our global audit methodology to processing millions of transactions into visual analytics solutions, innovation and technology will be embedded into your audit clients from day one.
We're using innovative technology such as Robotic Process Automation and Process Mining to review our client’s population data. You will receive structured training to upskill in digital technology such as data visualisation or design thinking and bring that into your audit work.

How’s it structured?
Your year starts with an EY induction and then you’ll join teams, working on real client projects. You’ll be part of the EY community, with a buddy to help guide you. They’ll be your first point of call for practical help and guidance. We also provide coaching so you always have access to impartial advice, opportunities and ongoing advice.
By the end of the placement you will have a head start on thinking about some big ideas of how you could be leading the client projects you’ve been part of. Plus, you’ll have learnt from your colleagues and growing network. Best of all, if all goes well, you could be offered a place on the Assurance graduate programme.
