Under his guidance, the company has become a leader in precast concrete panel manufacturing, steel fabrication, and property investment. The mission to deliver superior products and foster innovation and sustainability has driven the businesses’ success.

Rakesh has overseen some significant achievements in his tenure as CEO. In 2008, he introduced the Monarc Brand, a creative precast concrete provider of unique panels and stair treads that transformed architectural concrete in New Zealand, and increased market share. His strategic foresight led to establishing a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown and acquiring Stahlton Prestress in 2021, further solidifying Nauhria’s market presence. His ability to navigate material shortages through large-scale steel shipments showcased his industry acumen and commitment to growth.

Today, Nauhria Precast Ltd thrives with a robust business ecosystem, prioritising sustainability, client relationships, and industry engagement. As Chair of the NZ Precast Sector Group and a member of the Auckland Business Chamber’s Board of Directors, Rakesh aims to further Nauhria’s impact through innovative solutions and sustainable practices, ensuring a legacy of excellence in New Zealand’s construction industry.
