Application, interview, selection and beyond

  • How do I identify legitimate EY job opportunities and emails?

    There are internship and job scams that may involve an individual representing themselves as an employee of EY. They may use fake LinkedIn, Google+ or other social media and emails to contact you. Here are some common warning signs to look out for:

    • EY will never initiate contact with you via text message. 

    • EY will never ask you for money for training, classes, equipment, software, etc.

    • Legitimate EY professionals have email addresses ending in @ey.com or @au.ey.com. If someone claiming to be an EY professional or recruiter contacts you with an unsolicited internship or job offer and it seems suspicious, ask to be contacted via an EY corporate email account.

    • Be cautious of emails with grammatical and spelling errors.

    • The only way to apply for a position at EY is through our online applicant tracking system, which is accessible only from the student and experienced pages of ey.com.

  • Discover what opportunities you’ll have here at EY and start your application process online

    Visit Job Search to look for opportunities at EY. Jobs are listed by service line as well as geography, and you'll find detailed information about the role and specific requirements in the job descriptions.

    The candidate profile and application can take approximately 30 minutes to complete. You can save your application at any point and return to it if necessary. To apply for more than one role, or to work in more than one location, you must complete an application form for each position. It’s easy to review, update or withdraw your applications through your candidate profile account.  

    We'll let you know when we receive your information and, if your application meets our requirements, we'll invite you to participate in the first step of our recruitment process.

  • Prepare for interview and complete the assessment

    Think about what you want to tell us about yourself, relevant work experience, and your view on current market trends and sector developments.

    We want to get to know you as an individual and discover your strengths and everything that makes you unique. But this is a two-way process, so it’s also your chance to find out whether EY is the place you want to be. You’ll be encouraged to interview us about the scope of the role, our expectations, what we offer and our vision for how we could work together.

    Your interview experience may be a combination of in-person, phone and/or video.

  • Review our offer and prepare to join

    If you successfully complete the interview process and we think you’re the perfect fit, then we'll make you a formal offer in writing. You can ask any questions you might have, and when you're happy to accept we'll look forward to receiving your confirmation and welcoming you on board.

    Joining a new organisation can be a stressful experience, which is why we offer a global onboarding technology portal to make your experience joining EY as smooth as possible. It’s an exciting process and we’ll ensure that you feel informed and prepared to complete all necessary tasks prior to joining us.

    From the moment you accept the offer, you'll find a large community of people at EY ready to welcome you. After an initial induction, you'll have opportunities to network with your peers and to participate in ongoing orientation programs suited to your level of experience.
