Moriaki Kida, EY Japan Chairperson and CEO, ranked #1 in OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model List

LONDON, 25 NOVEMBER 2021. EY announces that Moriaki Kida, EY Japan Chairperson and CEO, has achieved top spot in the 2021 OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model List, published annually by INvolve.

EY announces that Moriaki Kida, EY Japan Chairperson and CEO, has achieved top spot in the 2021 OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model List, published annually by INvolve. The list showcases leaders and allies who are breaking down barriers and creating more inclusive workplaces across the world.

Moriaki is the executive sponsor of Unity, the EY global network of LGBT+ people and allies, aimed at promoting LGBT+ inclusivity among EY people and communities. Moriaki has led a variety of initiatives to help create a welcoming workplace for LGBT+ people and has been recognized for his wide-ranging activities to promote diversity and inclusiveness in society. He has featured on the Role Model List on four occasions, reaching second place in 2020 before being awarded first place this year. Also named on the list is Catherine Vaughan, EY Ireland Head of Global Compliance.
