At EY, we are committed to fostering an environment where people are inspired to team and lead inclusively in their interactions every day. We are committed to building highest-performing teams, and believe these teams are diverse and well managed through inclusive leadership. As we manage increasingly global teams, we need to ensure that our leadership represents our people, our clients and the community.
Driven by data from our cultural census and under guidance from EY’s Global Social Equity Taskforce, EY Oceania has a refreshed Cultural Diversity Strategy including a comprehensive activation plan and targets.
CD@EY
With 700+ members, CD@EY aims to empower the EY community to build a better working world through cultural diversity at work, with clients, the marketplace, and the wider community.
CD@EY runs initiatives to connect culturally diverse leaders and emerging leaders to ensure the right mechanisms and support are in place to enable EY professionals to realise their potential.
The network has a core aim to increase awareness and appreciation of EY talent and to foster two-way dialogue and knowledge sharing between professionals of different heritages and faiths.
Providing our culturally diverse people access to mentors and targeted career development is one of many ways we look to create equity for all and build a pipeline of culturally diverse talent. CD mentoring has been hugely successful with 400+ mentors and mentees consistently signing up each year.
