Danielle is the Assurance Leader for the European Institutions.
She joined EY in 1985 and has 35 years of experience in the fields of statutory audits, financial audits and internal control audits in the private and public sector domain.
Danielle has an extensive knowledge about EU programs and underlying rules, having led thousands of project audits for the EU and other donor accounts.
She is a member of the Commission Not-for-Profit at the Belgian Audit Professional Body (IRE/IBR) and chairs the Performance Audit Working Party.
Danielle holds an MSc in Commercial Engineering from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. She is a member of the Institut des Réviseurs d’Entreprises and an accredited banking and insurance auditor. She attended the Account Leader Programme for the London Business School in 2016.
Danielle is based in Brussels and speaks six languages.
