Operations careers in Transaction Strategy and Execution
The EY-Parthenon Transaction Strategy and Execution (TSE) Operations team provides operational advice to assist corporate and private equity clients in realising their value potential through M&A activity – integration or divestments – or through rapid transformations.
Being part of Ops has been an enriching and rewarding experience. I have valued working on projects ranging from carve-outs to value creation. I have also worked on various interesting business development pieces within Consumer Products and Retail (CPR) and Energy. Aside from this, I enjoy being involved in Recruitment & Onboarding and the Diversity and Inclusion initiative of increasing women representation within TSE.
Sharanya
In my first 12 months in the Ops team, I have worked predominantly on post-deal carve-outs in the Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT) sector. One of the great things about TSE, though, is that if you have a particular interest in a type of client / deal, there is a whole breadth of projects you can get involved in. Alongside project work, I am also involved in the Onboarding and Consumer Products and Retail (CPR) team.

Operations
The TSE Operations team work on a mixture of pre-deal analysis and due diligence (operational, carve-out and synergy), integration / divestiture planning and execution, value creation and operational turnaround for a mixture of corporate and PE clients.
Working across the full transaction life cycle allows members of the Operations team to experience, and provide solutions for, a breadth of client challenges before, during and after a transaction takes place.
