Intellectual Property (IP) law – areas of support:
Protection of IP rights – as part of the protection of IP rights we investigate and evaluate the possibility of registering trademarks, utility models, industrial designs and patents. We advise on copyright protection, including software copyrights, trade secrets and know-how.
Contracts – we prepare and negotiate contracts for the transfer of IP rights, licensing agreements, franchise agreements and other specialized agreements specific to particular market segments.
We advise on technology transfers and R&D contracts.
IP Audit. We conduct audits of client’s intellectual property rights to increase their value, as well as the intellectual property rights of companies acquired in M&A transactions.
Customs IP protection in the UE - We cooperate with customs authorities in cases involving counterfeit goods and represent our clients throughout the EU in issues related to customs seizures.
IP proceedings - We conduct opposition and invalidation proceedings before the Polish Patent Office, Polish administrative courts and before EU authorities such as EUIPO and TSUE.
Litigation and arbitration proceedings - We represent our clients in court disputes and arbitration proceedings related to: breaches of intellectual property rights such as trademarks, copyright, patents, trade secrets and unfair competition.
