William Tan Wei Lun, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ITMAX System Bhd, which was established in 2001, took over the company in 2020 with a vision to enhance quality of life through smart city solutions. He wishes to leverage technology and innovation to create more efficient, sustainable and liveable urban environments.
Over the years, ITMAX has transitioned from a mere mechanical and electrical services contractor to a specialist in public space networked systems. ITMAX’s key milestones include installing 45,000 smart LED streetlights, setting up 5,000 CCTV cameras and managing the traffic control system in Kuala Lumpur.
William is building a better working world by leveraging public space networked systems, using smart surveillance, LED lighting and traffic management solutions, to enhance safety, efficiency and sustainability, ultimately improving the quality of life and fostering sustainable development in communities
