Janelle Sasaki oversees the EY Ripples program, the Women Athletes Business Network (WABN) Academy and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) brand initiatives which drive sustainable growth in our communities and create long-term value for society and the environment.
In her previous EY role, Janelle led the Global Women Athletes Business Network (WABN) which provides elite women athletes from around the world with the strategies and tools to achieve their leadership potential in the business arena.
Her career spans more than 20 years, with experience of providing innovative branding and HR solutions to multinational organizations, and a consultancy role at EY Japan People Advisory Services focusing on change management. She continues to address these topics at international conferences where she is frequent guest speaker.
Prior to joining EY Japan, Janelle was the DE&I leader for a technology company in the Asia-Pacific region, where she launched a company-wide DE&I business strategy and addressed workplace challenges.
Janelle was a competitive gymnast for more than 10 years and draws on her lived experience to address the challenges facing women in today’s workplace.
