EY has collaborated with the Indian School of Business to prepare high-potential women leaders for an effective presence as a new or first-time director of the Board. The program comprises sessions that combine industry expertise with research-focused academic knowledge. After the success completion of the two cohorts, the third cohort is set to launch.

Positioning yourself as “Board-ready" requires significant preparation, especially for those who have never served as a director in the past. This boards readiness program aims to recognize the excellence women bring to the boards and further strengthen it.

The program aims to prepare you to:

  • Analyze Board functions and committees and how they work 
  • Determine where your expertise fits in and the value you can offer on the Board  
  • Resolve conflicts, handle biases, influence, negotiate and voice your values in a boardroom setting 
  • Understand the legal provisions relevant for directors, understanding roles and responsibilities and managing stakeholders’ expectations
  • Interpret financial statements to read between the lines 
  • Network and build relationships across a diverse and accomplished peer group 
  • Appreciate personal risks involved in board membership and how to mitigate them 
  • Prepare yourself for recruitment opportunities 
  • Networking time and Graduation ceremony at ISB campus

INR 2,50,000 plus GST. The fee covers only the program costs, course materials, and a networking evening at ISB Campus. 

The selection process is based on an applicant's professional role and the success therein. Selection will be made based on multiple factors, including but not limited to:
