    Corporate and growth strategy

    EY-Parthenon Strategy team supports the clients — C-suite and business leaders — to be truly effective at driving value creation across their organization. CEOs need to consider and take bold and transformative steps such as redefining their organization’s purpose, designing and executing strategic directives in light of radically shifting customer and market dynamics and disruptive innovation, which include defining and implementing strategies to drive organic growth, pursuing and optimizing inorganic growth and embedding sustainability into their business model. EY-Parthenon is a strategy consultancy committed to bringing unconventional yet pragmatic in close collaboration with our clients to deliver actionable strategies and real outcomes in today’s business landscape.

    Key features include Corporate and BU Strategy, Purpose-Led Strategy and Long-Term Value, Business Model Reinvention, New Market Entry Opportunities, Feasibility studies, pricing strategy, Digital Strategy and Innovation, Go-to-market Strategy, Commercial/business Diligence (Buy-Side) and Vendor Due Diligence (Sell-side).

    Transaction strategy and execution

    Transaction Strategy & Execution (TSE) team assists clients in integrating acquired assets and businesses or sell and separate a carve-out entity. In addition, the teams provide strategic transaction advice by providing operational and/or technology diligence services and post-deal execution support to attain the value proposition contained in the strategic decision-making process of acquiring or selling a business. TSE teams enable our clients across multiple sectors with the development, evaluation and end-to-end execution of the transaction strategy.

    These would include:

    • Post-Merger Integration (PMI) Services — Deploying a holistic integration program to support clients from on pre-Day 1 activities (Functional roadmaps, Stakeholder management, Day 1 Readiness, etc.) to post-Day 1 execution of functional integration programs (across People, Finance, IT, Support functions, Core Operations, etc.)
    • Sell-Side Carve-Out Services — TSE offers strategic, end-to-end transaction and operational advice on how to approach a business carve-out, help evaluate, plan and execute the divestitures to maximize value and minimize residual risk for the vendor. The team also assists in evaluating the feasibility of operating a standalone business for clients looking to acquire a carved-out business
    • Pre-deal Analysis and Due Diligence — This includes a comprehensive view of Synergies, Operational Due Diligence and IT Due Diligence services
    • PE Value Creation — Engaged by PE companies and sponsors to deliver their investment case by accelerating cash and profit improvements from ideation to results
    • Technology Advisory Services — Engaged by companies to understand the IT landscape, architectural complexity and cost implications arising out of M&A/Carve-out and support in the transformation journey
