Shalini Mathur
Shalini comes with over 28 years of experience in policy and regulatory matters. She works in collaboration with the global EY tax policy network and industry associations.
She anchors the Tax Policy Forum in India that focuses on constructively engaging with policymakers for greater tax certainty. Before joining EY, she worked with a prominent chamber of commerce in India and was involved in regular policy discussions with the government at multiple levels on matters pertaining to taxation, company law and internal trade. Shalini is an alumnus of Delhi School of Economics.
Shalini is working towards building a better working world by creating constructive and effective polices based on best practices, which provide value to businesses and contribute to economic growth. Through regular interaction with governments, industry associations, private sector business groups and individual companies, she works towards understanding the emerging policy trends, help clients navigate the changes in a way that helps their growth objectives as also benefit the economy.
