As Chair of the EY Global Emerging Markets Committee, Rajiv advances EY’s emerging markets growth agenda and connects their priorities with the global firm’s investments.
Rajiv is also the Chairman and Regional Managing Partner of EY India. He is a trusted advisor to large Indian companies, Private Equity funds and multinational organizations, principally advising them on building confidence, mergers & acquisitions, technology, and smart capital allocation strategies.
Rajiv established EY India’s market-leading Corporate Finance (now Strategy & Transactions) practice in the late 90’s. Previously, he worked in EY India Tax and Assurance Services in Singapore.
He is the President Designate of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India’s premier industry body for 2024-25. He contributes actively to the public discourse on tax and policy reforms and has been a member of several high-powered Government of India committees.
Rajiv is a Board member of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sirmaur and a member of the governing council of KREA University.
He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.

To create a lasting impact on our local communities, we realized we needed to do much more and established the EY India Foundation in 2004. Over 10,000 students from underprivileged backgrounds have benefited from our Student Scholarship program and are employed with leading organizations. Our initiatives toward women entrepreneurship are helping increase family income for half a million rural women in about 2,000 villages. As part of our environment commitment, we have undertaken several afforestation drives and rainwater harvesting in urban and rural areas over the years.
I am proud that each year, our people enthusiastically support our community initiatives by volunteering their time and resources.
