After reviewing all applications, the nominees for the Sustainability Awards 2023, hosted by the Danish Chamber of Commerce and EY, are now ready to advance.
"It has been a luxury problem that so many significant Danish companies take responsibility for their contribution to the green transition. But now the nominees have been found. We see many ways of integrating sustainability into the business, and common to the nominees is that they take it seriously, set short-term and long-term goals – and succeed with them. This is something that benefits us all," says Jan C. Olsen, CEO, EY Denmark.
At this year's Sustainability Awards, which takes place on 14 September in Copenhagen, awards will be given away in the categories Climate Impact Award, Innovation Award and Green Transition Award. The latter is a brand new award introduced for the 2023 award show.
In addition, the Special Prize for Long Term Value Creation is awarded. The winner of the Special Prize will be appointed by the Danish Chamber of Commerce and EY. It is not possible to apply for this award.
The next step in the process is for the independent jury to determine first the finalists and subsequently the winners of the three awards. These winners will be celebrated – along with the applicants, the nominees and everyone else who makes an effort within sustainability – at the big event in Børssalen in Copenhagen.
