For more than 20 years, Sania has built cross-sector experience in Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST), Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) and Provincial Sales Tax (PST), with a special focus on the financial services industry. A sought-after speaker on indirect tax issues, Sania has twice been recognized with the Norman Guerin Award for her contributions to the profession. She is past chair and is an active member of CPA Canada’s Commodity Tax Committee, and continues to edit and publish a wide range of perspectives and tax alerts (including Ernst & Young’s Complete Guide to GST/HST series of books).
Sania holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the Edinburgh Business School, and completed a leadership program with Harvard Business School.
