Indigenous community support
As a member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business, we’re committed to empowering Canadian Indigenous businesses to secure a better future and help deliver transformative outcomes for their communities. We’re building awareness both internally and externally around knowledge about Indigenous Peoples, and we continue to advance economic reconciliation through a diverse supply chain that includes Indigenous companies.
We work alongside Indigenous communities and organizations to cultivate dialogue while building and maintaining effective, long-term and mutually beneficial connections based on transparency, mutual respect and trust.
See how we’re collaborating with organizations and communities to provide equitable access to jobs, training and education opportunities for Indigenous Peoples, and how we’re educating our people on the histories and cultures of Indigenous communities.
Indspire awards and bursaries
Together with Indspire, we’re celebrating and supporting the next generation of Indigenous leaders as they build a brighter future. Through the EY Indigenous Futures Awards, we’re proud to support Indigenous students pursuing post-secondary education in business, commerce, accounting, finance and STEM.
Elders Knowledge Circle Society
We proudly support the Elders Knowledge Circle Society in their important mission to preserve Indigenous culture, knowledge and practices. The Society plays a vital role in bridging the gap in cultural understanding and strengthening relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous groups, and creating a legacy for future generations. It has been our privilege to help the Society become established as a not-for-profit organization.

Robert Hewitt is proud. Inspired by his Indigenous heritage and motivated to help others understand the cultures and achievements of Indigenous Peoples and communities. Robert says EY fosters a culture of belonging by helping him explore ways to share his heritage at work and engage with Indigenous groups. He channels those opportunities into relationships and dialogue that connect colleagues with First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples — to help build a more inclusive future.
