Terence Devane is an Associate Partner and corporate lawyer with a particular focus on advising clients on business reorganisations in the UK and across the world. Terence also has significant experience advising on buy and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, private investments and due diligence. Terence’s practice, which focuses on advising clients on business reorganisations in the UK and across the world, has been ranked as a Tier 1 Practice for International Business Reorganisations by Legal 500.
Terence’s first role was in legal education, delivering courses via video conference to schools across the UK. He then trained as a company secretary and lawyer in a professional services environment, delivering advice alongside other specialists as part of an integrated service.
Following his law degree and time in legal education, Terence gained a Masters in International Competition Law and Policy (LLM) from the Centre for Competition Policy at the University of East Anglia. During this time he focused on the intersection between law and economics in different jurisdictions around the world.
