Rupert leads the EY Sustainable Finance team in the UK, helping clients develop and implement their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies. He advises on how financial services (FS) companies can deliver on their decarbonisation commitments whilst supporting a nature positive transition. 

Rupert has over thirty years of experience in financial services and has been both Chief Operating Officer and Markets Leader for EY FS consulting in EMEIA. He has led a wide range of engagements with global clients covering products and services, risk and regulation, as well as reporting and disclosures. 

In addition to client work, Rupert is also responsible for the development and implementation of the talent strategy for FS and is also the co-chair of the EY UK Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness (DE&I) council.
