As leader of Banking & Capital Markets for EY Japan’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Kazuto has led a variety of projects for financial institutions in the areas of financial reporting, macro prudential regulation, risk management, controls and governance.
Prior to joining EY, he worked for a multinational investment bank in Japan, with responsibility for internal and external financial reporting, risk and regulatory management, capital adequacy ratio management and internal control assessment.
Kazuto is a qualified Certified Public Accountant in Japan and the US. He serves on the Banking Industry Committee of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountant.
