The heartbreak of losing a pet through ill health is never easy. So, when Mark Scott and Tony Ottley knew they could improve a pet’s health through a better diet, they were quick to develop Bella & Duke. And through this, they became a significant disruptor in the pet food industry.
From day one, the duo have used extensive researched evidence to get as many cats and dogs off processed food as possible, taking on a raw feeding niche market and changing it fast. Bella & Duke has gone from 20 employees to over 100 in 12 months. The customer base has grown organically from customer referrals and helped grow revenues to £17mn in just over three and a half years.

Mark and Tony’s entrepreneurial plan is to go international in the next few years and focus on delivering tailored-made nutritional diet plans specific to any cat or dog.
