Aaron Punwani saw a career opportunity when he joined Lane Clark & Peacock (LCP) as a graduate in 1996. He became the company’s youngest partner in 2000 and was appointed CEO in 2019, where he has guided the business forward and delivered consistent double-digit growth.
With over 120 partners, LCP is a market-leading advisor — delivering statistical skills to improve financial outcomes to the pensions and investment industry. It is also expanding rapidly in the insurance, energy and technology sectors. Aaron’s core contribution is entrepreneurial energy to solve challenges, explore new solutions and imagine better futures.
In 2011, Aaron led a technological transformation of LCP’s core services, galvanizing the partnership to invest in LCP Visualise — a proprietary and highly intuitive software tool enabling clients to analyse how their pension funds are performing in real time and run risk analyses. Today over 300 pension funds with over £250bn use LCP Visualise.
In my mind, ‘unstoppable’ means leading from the front and recognising which barriers need to be pushed aside, to make a business successful and futureproof it for long-term sustainable growth.
Aaron has established LCP’s culture as one of investing for the next generation, whereby each LCP partner seeks to pass on a stronger business than which they inherited.
