Poonam Gupta OBE

Poonam Gupta OBE is the founder and CEO of the paper-trading company, PG Paper. She established the global company – PG Paper – from her kitchen table in 2003. The company now operates in over 60 countries, with offices in India, the US, China, Sweden and Turkey.
Poonam and PG Paper have received many accolades on both a regional and international level. In 2016, Poonam was awarded an OBE for her contribution to business and charity. She has been recognised as one of the ‘100 Most Influential in UK-India Relations’ by India Inc Group and won the UK EY Entrepreneur of the Year™ Scale-up Award in 2019.
Poonam is a benefactor of several local, national and international charities, focusing on woman-centric issues, disadvantaged children, gender equality and animal conservation. In her role as a judge, Poonam will be looking for entrepreneurs who have overcome hardships and built successful businesses and taken challenges in their stride.
