Jane Wood

Jane is BT Group’s UK Nations and Regions Director. She manages the group relationships across the UK with public bodies, politicians and other key personal on strategic business areas, including artificial intelligence, 5G, connectivity, climate change and public policy affairs.

Jane was formerly Executive Director of Prince Charles’ business charity, Business in the Community and Chief Executive of Scottish Business in the Community. During her tenure at these organisations, she secured millions of pounds of public and private sector funding and worked in identifying cross-border, multi-charity funding to benefit vulnerable groups in ethnicity, poverty, education and health.

Prior to this role, Jane was Head of Corporate Affairs for Scotland and Northern Ireland at Wallgreen Boots Alliance, developing public and private sector partnerships in the areas of regeneration, community asset management and corporate responsibility.

She is a Trustee for Child Bereavement UK and is also a board member of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Jane was also founder of a community owned small to medium-sized enterprise, which became a UK award winner in 2015, two years after it was established.
