Jamil Mawji

Jamil Mawji is the Co-founder and Co-chair of National Care Group (NCG), one of the UK’s largest adult specialist care providers employing approximately 2,500 team members and providing care and support services to vulnerable adults. He was nominated for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ UK 2020 Awards with Faisal Lalani, his co-founder. Along with Faisal, Jamil is also Co-founder and Co-chair of a rapidly expanding quick service restaurant group. Prior to this, Jamil was a founding member of a special situations private equity fund, which he exited in 2015. Jamil has worked for leading international banks and been an advisor to World Bank projects. Jamil is also Chair of a not-for-profit association housing vulnerable adults. Jamil has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree, a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen’s University (Canada) and an MBA from London Business School.
