EY Blockchain Analyzer: Reconciler
As part of our blockchain platform, Reconciler is designed to assist EY audit teams in gathering an organization’s transaction data from multiple supported blockchain ledgers, including multiple cryptocurrencies. EY audit teams can then query the data and perform analysis of transactions, reconcile balances and identify transaction outliers.

What EY can do for you
Blockchain technology is rapidly expanding, and adoption is increasing by the day, from payments and financial services to supply chain operations, procurement, trade finance, and intellectual property licensing.
In the enterprise, blockchain technology is increasingly used to manage shared information flows and business logic that extends across company boundaries.
With new technology and new information flows, enterprises must also find new ways to manage and mitigate risks. At EY, we are building the solutions needed as companies to perform secure, reliable, regulatory compliant business transactions on blockchains.
The EY Blockchain Analyzer suite of analytics tools combines data flows from blockchains, enterprise systems, and other sources to create a single view of transaction data as it moves across systems.
The EY Blockchain Analyzer Reconciler is a data analytical tool that has been designed to support the audits of entities whose activities include holding and/or transacting using digital assets, specifically to assist in reconciling client transaction level data and wallet balances with the public blockchain ledger data. It independently obtains the public blockchain ledger data from an EY node and reduces the need to leverage third-party block explorers.
The tool supports the validation of digital signatures to help prove ownership of entity wallets.
The Reconciler supports all the major public blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, ERC-20 supported tokens and more. The system’s modular architecture makes it easy to add new blockchains as adoption grows.
From cryptocurrencies to stable coins to product, service or asset tokens, the tool can reconcile, follow, and match transactions across on-chain and off-chain data.
