Lucy Liu is the President and Cofounder of Airwallex. The company’s global financial infrastructure helps internet companies grow in every corner of the world. Airwallex is committed to providing intelligent, safe and compliant multi-currency cross-border payment solutions on a global scale.

Lucy is responsible for Airwallex’s branding and operations. Under her leadership, the company has grown rapidly in over the four years since its establishment, becoming a unicorn in the fintech sector. With Airwallex, customers can create international bank accounts instantly, access interbank exchange rates and send money through local and international clearing networks to more than 130 countries.

Lucy holds a master's degree in Finance from the University of Melbourne. Before establishing Airwallex, she worked as an investment consultant at the China International Capital Corporation (CICC) and also served as the director of Hong Stone Investment Development Limited, a Hong Kong-based investment company. Lucy has received several entrepreneurial achievements. She was listed on the Forbes "30 under 30 Asia 2017: Finance & Venture Capital" list and on the SmartCompany "Smart 30 Under 30 2019" list. She has also won the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Australia Southern Region award 2018.
