Mrs. Pennie Lim founded HOMA Sdn Bhd in 2017 to make home improvement affordable.
Pennie, who is also the CEO, envisions the business reinforcing the global home makeover community by inculcating people-centric values, while reducing environmental impact. Since it began operations with the brand HOMA2U, the company has repurposed over RM20 million worth of overstock inventories for more than 10,000 homes.
By leveraging the latest technology to transform the traditional-type business, HOMA2U was able to elevate its digital presence, reduce costs and maintain its business growth trajectory, even during the pandemic.
HOMA2U was also recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records, for its Yellow Box, the smallest self-service floor and wall covering showroom powered by Quick Response (QR) technology. The setup reinforced the concept of sustainability to customers and encouraged them to make more environmental-friendly purchase decisions with HOMA2U products.
As part of its journey to promote the environmental agenda and the circular economy through an innovative shopping experience in the home improvement industry, HOMA2U aims to increase the reach of the Yellow Box mobile showrooms across Malaysia.
