Dr Lim Geng Yan

Dr. Lim Geng Yan is the CEO of Jasper Healthcare, an elderly care and nursing home service provider.

Dr. Lim’s vision steered Jasper Healthcare’s expansion into becoming the most comprehensive aged care service provider in Malaysia. Jasper Healthcare focuses on assisted living and home care facilities, offering management operation expertise, an elderly care training academy and the setting up a central kitchen.

Today, the company boasts a team of 200 experienced skilled caregivers across 12 branches nationwide, with a revenue of RM 12 million in 2021.

One of the biggest challenges faced by  Jasper Healthcare was an in-house manpower shortage and Dr Lim acquired  a controlling stake in a training academy named, “Institusi Pendidikan Swasta” and designed a professional program to train caregivers. Through this initiative, he set new standards in elderly care and transcended the prevailing industry norms, determined to make the services affordable and accessible to every Malaysian.

While growing its legacy, Jasper Healthcare continues to enlarge its national footprint by forming a consortium of 100 licensed nursing homes and is planning for an initial public offering (IPO) by 2027.

Jasper Healthcare holds passionately to its mission to be socially responsible and to exercise sustainable practices. This includes shifting its practice to procure from environmentally conscious vendors, looking into equipping all its premises with solar energy and providing access for the poor and destitute to quality care.

Looking ahead, Dr. Lim will continue to focus on driving the business towards an IPO so that the company can access more resources to achieve its vision of seeing all elderly individuals receiving loving, trustworthy, and quality care.
