Ong Hang Ping, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Sunview Group Bhd, took over the business in 2015 with a vision to empower people with affordable, reliable, and green energy, and enable them to actively participate in global efforts to create a sustainable energy ecosystem.
Under Hang Ping’s leadership, Sunview has achieved renewable energy (RE) adoption of 468.695 Megawatt-Peak (MWp), through the implementation of over 200 solar energy projects, as of May 2023. These efforts have resulted in significant annual environmental savings, including a reduction of 406 million kg of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, the preservation of 812 million square metres of forests, and the conservation of 189 million gallons of oil.
Hang Ping is building a better working world by driving the adoption of renewable energy, minimizing environmental impact and promoting sustainability.
