Dr Soraya Rahim Ismail left Malaysia when she was 13. Later, she quit her high-flying international corporate career and returned home in 2009 to start Boost Juice.
Boost Juice offers 'Seriously Healthy' and delicious smoothies, juices and crushes, all developed with the assistance of a nutritionist, and provides a healthy alternative to fast food.
Since opening the first store in 2009, Dr Soraya has expanded Boost Juice to over 165 stores in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei and will soon be opening stores in Thailand and the Philippines.
Dr Soraya has always wanted to give back to society - she is determined to promote a healthier lifestyle for Malaysians; she only employs Malaysians in her stores; she supports various charities; and she has helped create the next generation of Malaysian entrepreneurs by expanding the Boost Juice franchise in Malaysia.
Dr Soraya is a fantastic example of a successful Malaysian woman entrepreneur.
