At EY, our goal is to support entrepreneurs as they transform their businesses and scale to new heights. One way we do that is through the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ program. Since its 1986 founding in the US, this unique program now operates in more than 60 countries and territories and more than 145 cities around the world. 

Every year, winners from around the world vie for the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ title. It has become the ultimate global competition and recognition event for the world’s top entrepreneurs. 

Selecting our world winner requires an understanding that entrepreneurship and business success can look different in different parts of the world. We strive to compare all country and territory winners fairly through an independent, global panel of judges using criteria that embody long-term value.

Every year, I am privileged to meet the winners of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ programs from around the globe competing for the world title. And every year, I am deeply inspired and encouraged by their vision, determination and impact. 

Every day, entrepreneurs are making a world of difference through social and economic change.  They are tackling global sustainability and climate change through innovations in renewable, clean energy; fighting chronic illness with advances in health sciences; leading initiatives that drive diversity, equity and inclusion; and reinventing our use of and relationship with cutting-edge technology.
