Yasuyuki Furuichi joined Ernst & Young Tax Co. Osaka office in 2017, after working at a consulting firm specializing in European Value Added Tax (VAT), and indirect tax and international tax division of a large accounting firm.
He engages in consulting and compliance projects around VAT and Goods Service Tax (GST) for Japanese companies. He focuses mainly on taxation considerations for cross-border transactions, tax compliance, compliance review on overseas subsidies, support for refund requests for Japanese companies.
He is a certified accountant in the US.
