Yasunori Fukuzawa is the current Technology, Media & Entertainment and Telecommunications (TMT) Tax Leader at EY Tax.
He leads many of our service offerings, including those of our Tax and Finance Operate (TFO) solution. He provides solutions tailored to the client needs based on HQ tax filing for Japanese multinationals, and the gathering and analysis of tax information from their overseas subsidiaries. He has served both Japanese and foreign multinationals on tax account audit, tax compliance and advisory across a range of industries including the telecommunications, technology and automotive sectors.
While based at the EY London office, he provided tax advice to Japanese multinationals operating in Europe on corporate tax, VAT, cross-border trading, and the adoption of consolidated tax filing.
In Japan, he supports development of corporate tax filing using the EY network as well as the tax risk management structure service leveraging people and technology. In collaboration with HR consultants, he also advises on labor visa, tax, and insurance for seconded employees.
He has a MA in Welfare Economy from Waseda University, Japan.
